The owner, Tom McAllister, is a native of Syracuse, NY. His background in the home improvement industry dates back to 1971 when he joined Alside, Inc. Alside is the pioneer and a leading manufacturer of residential siding and replacement window products.

During his 26 years at Alside, Tom worked in 5 States and has gained a vast knowledge of exterior remodeling. In 1997, he accepted a dealership and opened Merrimac. Making homes more energy efficient, more maintenance free, and more attractive are his company's goals.
